IvyKey is not offered in mainland China app stores or the China App Store.
RPM or Flatpak?
- RPM installs IvyKey like any other Fedora app. It runs with your normal user permissions, without extra isolation. IvyKey itself has no networking features.
- Flatpak runs IvyKey in the system's sandbox: the system guarantees it cannot go online or see your other files, and it can only open files you pick in the file dialog.
- Both keep your vault in a different folder, so don't install both. To switch, export a sync copy first.
Verify what you download
Every Linux package and repository is signed by VNET LIMITED. Your system checks the signature on every install and update and refuses anything that doesn't match.
